Eh? A list password, though encoded in the Subject line of original messages to the list, should never be shown to the list members. Are you bracketing the password with [: and :] on the Subject line? Maybe you don't have password protection actually turned on, but you're passing the password anyway, in which case it won't be stripped appropriately.
