Just a quick small comment....
We provided free patch files for the real bugs that were reported in 4.06.
We could argue about what is a bug all day, but the "nobody bug" is not a bug in my definition as it worked exactly as designed and documented. That is, it only was valid on an incoming SMTP conversation. We are changing it in response to your comments in 4.07, but that doesn't mean that I believe it was a bug, it only means we are listening to customers.
The Y2K changes in 4.07 are also not "bug fixes" but modification of optional "standards" implementation in order to help you eliminate Y2K bugs in the mail clients that you may be using.
We are always making changes in IMail to support the strange things that new mail clients throw at us. Many of these changes are broadening our acceptance of non-compliant mail clients, but our correction for a problem in a mail client can hardly be called a bug fix for us. More like we are fixing a bug in someone else's client. (Anyone have any idea how many "standards" OE violates?)
