Subject: [OT] Strange DNS problem

I'm using BIND for NT. I've entered a domain, dmpmortgage.com. This is weird. I can ping dmpmortgage.com, www.dmpmortgage.com and mail.dmpmortgage.com from anywhere and they resolve to the correct IP. 216.242.16.196 for mail and .197 for the others. However, from the server itself, dmpmortgage.com and mail.dmpmortgage.com resolve to the old DNS where it was before I transferred it. www. resolves correctly.

This is just the opposite of what usually happens. For every other domain I've ever set up in BIND, I can ping it from the server and it resolves immediately to the IP I've assigned it. I know the file is right, because it's identical to every zone file I've got. And like I said, if I ping it from here or anywhere other than the server where the site and DNS are located, it resolves to the correct IP.

Website Pro won't let me set up the domain. I'm getting errors from Devmailer when sending mail from the form on the website. Mail get's to him fine from outside the system, but says it can't find mail.dmpmortgage.com from INSIDE the system.

Any clues? I'm totally stumped on this one. It's been about 3 weeks now and I've given up thinking it's a cache thing. The server has been rebooted and BIND restarted dozens of times. I need HELP!

Thanks, --
