I changed my DNS for my machine to use my company's DNS server and now I can send mail perfectly fine. My local DNS server must have a problem. I don't know what that is right now or I'd send it to y'all.

It makes me afraid that other mail servers (or imail servers even) may not be able to send mail to us.

I'll add the two extra lines you specify there to my hosts file but I am afraid it won't fix the underlying problem with my ISP's dns. --
