Question. Hypothetically...

Let's say I have a web site. On that web site there is a mailto: for an email address to my domain. That address happens to have an auto responder turned on. If someone sends an email to it, masquerading as someone else...the person's masqueraded addy gets the auto response.

The content of the auto response is just text saying sorry I am out be back soon.....

Is this considered spam? Does the person who gets the auto-response then receive what is considered "spam"?
