We have a customer who uses outlook 2000 and has his mail checking once every 10 minutes. They have lost their DSL provider and are now using a 56k modem to check mail. Along with a 56k modem they have a palmpilot, and a cable modem at their house checking mail all day long.
Original problem this customer had was that the box filled up. We increased the alotted space and now the box has 15mb of files with an allowence of 45mb.
New problem is now the 56k modem and cable modem machines are set to check messages every 10 minutes and to leave messages on server for 2 days, but the messages are not being deleted.
How do we fix this problem? Let me also add we found a file from 2 days ago named mail.new in his user directory and we can not find anything in the KB about this.
