Well while we are totally OT I will add my .02 on FTP servers.
I had a recent project where a client was running MS IIS4 FTP server and needed to programatically add and delete users. So I wrote a web ADSI interface for him to add and delete users from the NT database. But the FTP server would sometimes totally ignore the changes and even in one case continued granting access to a deleted user for 20 minutes or so after the user was deleted.
I finally downloaded the eval version of WS_FTP server and had it installed and running in a few minutes. Interestingly it recognized the changes to nt user database instantly.
As with IMAIL I found it extremely fast to set up and manage ftp servers and directories. Only real complaint I have is with the sparseness of the command line interface.
