"sender domain" is the "MAIL FROM: sender@senderdomain". sender domain better have both an A record and an MX record.

Self-protecting mail servers don't make up these rejection reasons for general amusement.

I trust mail servers' decisions about DNS data more than I trust people to set up the DNS data correctly in the first place. Read the logs, fix the DNS.
