One of my customers sends out 30,000 email through my Imail machine (a dual Pentium 233 with 128megs of RAM). Her sending rate is 600 an hour. I had her point to my new IMGate box (Single pentium 200 with 64 megs of RAM) She just sent me email telling me she sent out 1800 in the past hour !!!!!!
Half the CPU power / Half the memory / more than a 300% increase in sending.
