Good point, RFC say's it is a guarantied delivery. AOL in violation of the RFCs, heaven forbid. If their system accepts the message they are responsible for delivery or return of the message. That is the same thing the antispam guys have been saying for years and then banning servers that simply eat spam w/o attempting to return it to the sender.
