Subject: stripping HTML tags

I'm having a problem still with receiving HTML messages from one person on Hotmail... but I want to thank everyone that's helped out so far! I'm wondering though, is there just a filter or program I can run alongside IMail (or possibly just a setting in IMail that I overlooked) that would strip HTML tags out of incoming messages, or possibly just incoming messages to my mailbox? That might just cure the problem, too...
