Subject: RE: Effciency of IMail

Well Matt, I don;t even have that.. We've been using a single Pentium 1 200 with 96mb dram for the past two years and it's served us well enough until now. I just upgraded to IMail 6.04 (with the patch also) in addition to adding seven additional busy lists over the weekend, so I'm not entirely sure if it;s the list traffic or the upgrade... anyway, IMail simply can not keep up with the amount of traffic my lists are pumping into the que.... to be real honest those seven new lists don;t have all that many subscribers so I would have a hard time believing that by themselves they brought my mail server crawling on its knees... but the end result is that mail is sitting in my que from 45-60 or so minutes before it goes out now.... it never used to take that long. it never used to take more than a few minutes at most for something to get out....
I wished there were an easy way to see the stats on IMail and see how my system was holding up under constant strain....
