I can't tell if my server is slowing down or if my connection speed isn't what it should be [I'm supposed to be at 56k - but suddenly my site access seems to be slowing down].
I working on a new site in Flash 5 http://www.petersonSales.net/new/base.html
And I've tried to reduce each section's size to something that will load without a lag, but I'm finding that files are lagging, when they weren't.
1 problem I tried to eliminate was Exportable Library items of large size, since these items load at the beginning of the .swf and prevent a loading counter from showing until after that chunk of data is loaded. The exportable library items are containers which load other swfs. However, it appears as if more data is front loading than is supposed to, unless it is just my connection.
Please test especially the buttons for Photography and Flash. Any other problems you note are appreciated before this site goes live. NOT all the text copy is written. I have some files that are duplicated filler text.
Please test especially 56k and broadband. I am interested if broadband especially if it loads quickly. But it should be acceptable at 56k .
