Hi

That is Flash's nature. I found out the hard way myself.

The easy solution is do not "key" any of the 60 frames and keep the movie on a layer on it own, you might have already done the latter part.

This is my first post on this group. i was wondering if any of you could answer this question

If I have a movie clip of animation, lets say 60 frames long and I place it on the stage (also 60 frames) and set keys to animate it, sometimes, but not always the movie clip will start playing on frame one as it should but will restart when it hits one of the key frames on the stage. It doesn't do this on all the key frames, and sometimes not at all. If there are five keys on the stage it might restart on one or four of the frames. I can't figure out why this happens, and I can't seem to fix it other then reanimating the layer with the movie clip on it. Can anyone help? Thanks -- ________________________________________
