You could try to put the loadmovie action into a movieclip, so the loaded movie will be inside this movie clip and you could set the -x and _y porperties of the movie clip.

hello friends, this is jai. whenever i try to load a movie above another movie, the movie automatically gets placed on the top left corner(0,0) of the original movie. since the second movie i am trying to place is smaller than the bottom one, i want to place it at a different place depending on the content of the movie.i think there must be a way to decide the coordinates of the second movie. please tell me how to do it.it would be of great help if you mail me the code also. thank you very much. jai
