I am having trouble with Flash 4.0a. The program works fine for a few builds, then it will fail (after the 4th or 5th .swf build) on "Export Flash Player". It either takes up to several minutes to output the flash player or freezes entirely and I have to force quit. I have no problems reinstalling the software if this sounds to anyone as if there is program corruption. I ran Nortons, and nothing is showing up bad.
I also asked last week whether anyone had encountered extreme slowdowns in the flash player. the response was to get rid of any "trace" actions. I didn't have any trace actions, and I wonder if this is related.
