Subject: Database interaction?

I have created a quiz game in flash.

I would like the game to call questions/answers from a list. I have a list of questions and their answers in a database.

Is there any way to have flash look at that data dirctly from the source?

I could put the information in any format... it dosen't have to be in a database at all... it could be in a spreadsheet... tab seperated text etc.

The idea is that flash needs to look at this data from source becuase the game has to be portable. The laptop that will play this game will not have an internet connection.

Any info to point me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Thank You-

Dan Merfeld
