the last sentence on this (for Quicktime ) page says: "Another thing you can do with Flash is create animated sprite graphics."

I tried a number of things, but nothing I output in Flash or import or play in Quicktime produces a sprite track.

If you follow the link in the Apple page here : http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/tutorials/spritetracks.html

there is no mention of Flash.

anybody know how to do this? Or did apple make a mistake?
