You can always load the Microsoft Winsock ActiveX. It can be used to connect to a different application which is listening.(can be authorware). You have to know the IP-adress of the other computer running the authorware piece.

Maybe this is too simple. If both AW pieces can read the same drive on a network (LAN), write out the variable value(s) to an INI file, text file, or database and read it in with the other. No xtra required, plus you have a stored value set. You can pass whole lists of variables this way. BudAPI will allow create file, check if created, read/write INI, and the delete file commands if you want to go that route.
