Subject: Re: OT: What verb to use for "taking," "performing," WBT?

> students "__________" online training.

Students [learn | study] Spanish [using | through] CBT Students [use | employ] CBT to [learn | master] Spanish. Students [undergo | pursue | undertake] online training (in ...). The company [implemented | adopted | instituted] online training.

Your choice would also depend on context. "Students undergo online training" suggests something complex/rigorous. "Students pursue online training" connotes on-going open-ended work. "Students undertake online training" says nothing about outcome.

If you add the subject name or "a course" to the phrase "CBT" then the most natural verb is "to take": "She is taking a course in differential equations via CBT." "I took some online training in elementary Spanish."
