I used a simple program called Setup Factory from Indigo Rose. It works well for my simple applications...they have a demo download..www.indigorose.com

I'm not familiar with Wise so I don't have an opinion to offer for it. I am familiar with InstallShield (Professional) and installing database components is pretty straight forward, as are basic installations in general. Its true that you can really get into the weeds with the scripting, but that seems to be a neccessary evil to have such a granular control over the installation process when you need (want) it.
