Subject: Teacher Time vs CBT time
Chip Beegle (10p/+0r)     Posted: Monday 15 Jan 2001

Hello all,

I have been asking a lot of questions lately about "time". I have to put some estimation of 'times' down for a project I am working on. This is the largest program I have had to do from scratch. I got a lot of good responses and resources from everyone about 'estimating development time' but what about actual class time?

For example, if it takes a teacher 8 hrs to teach the class how long will the same class be if it was in CBT format? Or, if there is a program already on disc...not technically a CBT; but a 'real page-turner' that takes 4 hours for the user to go through how long would it be if it was a real CBT?

Thanks for everyone's help! Chip Beegle
