Hey guys,
Thanks a lot for your help on setting up an address of mail.xyxy.com for the browser instead of mail.xyxy.com:8383.
To all those who don't know how to do it here's what I did.
I was trying to make it so someone could access webmail without having to enter the :8383 at the end. I was trying to make one less headache, as its very confusing for newbies.
This worked great!!!
Go to IIS and create a new website. Description: mail.xyxy.com Enter IP address and normal port Have home directory equal to whatever for now Finish out the creation as normal
Go to properties on mail.xyxy.com Under the WebSite Tab access IP Address: Advanced button Add mail.xyxy.com to the list with normal port Go to the Home directory tab Change the selection to when connecting connect to a redirection to a url: http://mail.xyxy.com:8383 Check the box for the client will be sent to the exact URL entered above
Thanks again everybody!
Drew
