Subject: RE: Bug?

The problem I have with not disclosing somethings are that I know alot of the stuff that goes on in this board we would not be forwarded. Alot of the stuff about performance tweaking, or better ways to do x,y or z. Or just problems people are having that have went to Win2k, so you know what to expect and hopefully the resolution.

I have yet to see a real bug come accross this board that is a MAJOR security issue. I think this list is the least of our concearns for that. If there is a major security issue or exploit..we need to know about it. Whether we need to turn something off temporarily, revert ot previous patches, or whatever.

I just do not like being kept in the dark and I know Ron does a pretty good job about all this when its on this board. I just do not want to loose this ability to observe the solutions to some problems that sometimes solve others for other Imail users.

If there ever is a mjor threat to our systems, i agree, send it direct, but tell us something. Tell us to disable this or that, or give us something to put in that is a temp fix, just not leave it like it is till the next patch. If its small bugs or quirks in the program that don;t require immediate fixes, or problems others are having, i'd still like to know about it.
