Subject: Indexing Files Within an Object

Hello all, Is there a way to get embedded files to be indexed and associated with the parent content object? I'm asking this because if I do a search for text contained within a pdf document the collection doesn't seem to return a value. Is there a built-in way of getting embedded "text" objects to be indexed and associated with the parent object? Any feedback here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nate
