Hello all,
I want to retrieve objects from a metadatahierarchy, but only from a specific tree in the hierarchy. FE. If I have: books - nature - trees KEYWORD1 (assigned) KEYWORD2 - flowers KEYWORD3 KEYWORD4 (assigned) - science - physics
I want to search only in the category nature, so I provide the lCategoryID from the category 'nature'. But, I don't get the objects assigned to KEYWORD1 and KEYWORD4. I have to specify the categoryIDs from 'trees' and 'flowers' first if I want to get all the objects related to this keyword.
My question: is it possible to do a cfa_metadataKeywordObjectFind in a category AND all his children, without specifying all the categoryIDs of it's children OR is the a tag called cfa_metadataCategoryChildrenGet which returns a list with all the child categories or something like it. I know cfa_metadataCategoryGet returns all it's children, but it does not return the childrens children (it goes only 1 level deep), so that is of no use.
Best regards, Johan Coens
