I recently loaded CFServer 4.5 (and the SP) on a pentium II 450 server running Win2k professional, that I built from scratch. Problem is, no matter what I try, I cannot get my installation to function correctly. IIS is running fine, as I can see htm pages from the root and any virtual directories, using my localhost address. What is weirder, the same issue is occuring at work, on a dell machine (running windows 2k professional). My sys admin is stumped, tried reinstalling everything and running Windows SP. Do I need to reinstall MDAC, or am I missing something more fundamental? Please help me cure my black thumb of networking!!
