I encountered this error when i tried to restart CF server, any help?

/opt/coldfusion/siteminder/cfsmstop[52]: 11040 Killed Shutting down registry daemon # Wind/U error - cannot acquire shared memory lock: Invalid argument Outdated registry version?

Wind/U Error (251): Function RegPingDaemon - A fatal registry I/O failure has occurred. A registry daemon may not be running. Restart your application and verify that a registry daemon is running.
