Lets just say I recommend you keep CF on NT.
We have run it on both and it does not run well enough on Solaris to justify the costs. We have large Sun Enterprise 350 boxes and the applications just don't run that much better than NT. I'm still very limited on the number of active threads I can use, so to me it makes more sense to use lots of smaller NT boxes (or perhaps Solaris on Intel) as opposed to a few expensive SPARC boxes.
